Without Lifting A Finger

We had a little time so I took the exit and followed the signs. Have seen the big signs off the freeway forever. A long and somewhat ugly trip. Uglier still: the loss of that cultural gem. I was somewhat disappointed in what's left. *

Wasn't an easy thing to do, but I waved being with him "at the end" and his ashes, which helped in holding back the tears (big boys don't cry). Anyway, he was the last death I experienced "up close" in 2014 (12.26.14). We'd been talking about "putting him down" for some while. He's better off now.
