What We Saw near Dublin: Dowth, Knowth, Newgrange
Dowth, Knowth, and Newgrange are just three of the more prominent ancient tumuli located in Ireland (these funeral monuments were erected ca. 3000 BC by a still-little-known-about people). Currently, if I heard right, Dowth is not accessible to the public. Buying two tickets, we were able to see both Knowth and Newgrange. These are not my photos (again: my photos were taken somewhere between Brussels and Amsterdam): I selected them from Photobucket.
